The world’s largest water supply project with an investment exceeding 25 billion dollars.
Supervision and consultancy of well drilling works during the Great Man-made River Project between 1994 and 2002 on behalf of the General Water Authority of Libya (Tripoli).
Out of the planned 1300 wells, 726 were completed under ER-Petro’s supervision.
Currently, the project includes 1116 production-capable wells, providing a total daily water output of 6.5 million cubic meters.
Commissioned by the Industrial Research Center (IRC):
Between 2008 and 2016, our company conducted digital geological mapping at a scale of 1:250,000 in cooperation with the IRC.
We integrated and updated geological knowledge of the Kufrah Basin using modern digital field mapping and rapid data processing technologies.
The completed results were uploaded to Libya’s national geological database.
